Authorities Confirm that Coronavirus Patient in China Went To Bali, Indonesia

CORONAVIRUS PATIENT IN CHINA – The Chinese authorities confirmed that a coronavirus patient has visited Bali, Indonesia.

China is the epicenter of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus or now called as COVID-19. It was initially recorded in Wuhan City which is now under a lock-down.

More than 40,000 people were infected by the coronavirus in China and the death toll has exceeded 1,000. The outbreak has unfortunately reached other countries.

There are records of confirmed coronavirus cases in the United States, France, Philippines, Hong Kong, and Japan among others. The death cases outside China was recorded in the Philippines and in Hong Kong.

Coronavirus Patient in China

Currently, China is still on a huge fight against the coronavirus. Thousands of people are still fighting for their life against the viral disease that targets the respiratory system of the patients.

One of the angles seen as the root of the outbreak was the bat soup served in the market in Wuhan. Coronavirus are linked to animals like bats.

Recently, an update about the novel coronavirus crossed the surface. Based on a report on The Straits Times, a coronavirus patient in China was confirmed to have visited Bali, Indonesia in the late January.

According to Huainan Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the patient identified as “Jin” flew from Wuhan to Bali last January 22. The patient boarded Lion Air Flight JT2618 and stayed in the island for around a week.

Based on the report, after around a week, the patient flew back to China on Garuda Indonesia flight GA858. It was in February 5 when the patient tested positive for coronavirus.
