According to Philstar, Pulse Asia has yet to release an official statement regarding the survey results, but a previous announcement indicated that the survey had 1,200 respondents with a margin of error of plus/minus 2.8 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.

Senate President Zubiri clarified that he has no intentions of seeking public office in 2028. He expressed gratitude to Pulse Asia for including him in their last survey for the next vice presidential race and affirmed his commitment to dedicating his remaining four years of public service to enacting meaningful legislation for the betterment of all Filipinos.

“However, to dispel any rumors that may arise, I would like to make it clear that I will not be running for any public office in 2028 and I am, in fact, contemplating my retirement from almost 30 years of politics,” Zubiri stated.

He extended his thanks to his fellow Mindanaoans and Visayans, who comprised 14 percent and 8 percent, respectively, of his Pulse Asia numbers.
