PCSO Responds To Senator Raffy Tulfo’s Allegations Of Bettor Winning 20 times In A Month
PCSO – Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) responded to Senator Raffy Tulfo’s claims of bettor winning 20 times in a month.
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office denies Senator Raffy Tulfo’s claims that a bettor has won the lotto 20 times. In a recent statement, PCSO asserts that Tulfo’s claims lack foundation and have generated controversy.
They specify that the person in question has not won any jackpot prizes in PCSO’s lotto draws, such as the 6/42 Regular, 6/45 Mega, 6/49 Super, 6/55 Grand, and 6/58 Ultra lotteries. Instead, PCSO underscores that this individual has only won in digit games.
Furthermore, PCSO affirms that the list referenced by Tulfo originates from their organization and should be interpreted accurately. They clarify that the individual named on the list has received lower-tier prizes in digit games on several occasions, without winning any jackpot lottery games. PCSO emphasizes that the primary focus should be on the claimant, not the frequency of their reported wins. They make it clear that the 20 claims reported by the claimant do not correspond to winning 20 digit games.
“The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office would like to clear the observations raised by Sen. Raffy Tulfo about a person that had purportedly won the lottery games 20 times,” the PCSO said.
PCSO further explains their “paki-claim” system, which permits lotto outlet agents or representatives of winners to collect smaller prizes on behalf of the winners, addressing concerns related to distance and identification. However, for significant prizes, winners are obliged to personally claim them at branch offices, providing valid identification. Jackpot winners are mandated to claim their prizes in person at the PCSO main office, ensuring safety and security measures are upheld.
