Following the passing of her mom, Jaclyn Jose, Andi Eigenmann might return to showbiz
ANDI EIGENMANN – The “Island Girl” may return to showbiz following the passing of her mother, Jaclyn Jose.
Andrea Nicole Guck Eigenmann, known as Andi Eigenmann, is a former Filipino actress, model, and social media influencer. She is the daughter of actors Mark Gil and Jaclyn Jose. Eigenmann began her showbiz career in 2005 with an appearance in the TV show “Wansapanataym: D’ Supers” and later starred in various soap operas and films.
Eigenmann’s personal life has also been in the spotlight, particularly her relationships and motherhood journey. She has three children with different partners and is currently in a relationship with professional surfer Philmar Alipayo.
Andi is one of the well-known artists who chose to live simply. In her case, she resides in Siargao as an “Island Girl” with her partner and kids. Unknown to many, Andi has not completely turned her back on showbiz. In fact, just recently she shared with Ogie Diaz that it seems she might return to acting whenever she wants. Andi shared with Ogie that she was delighted with the words of Cory Vidanes (ABSCBN COO) when she visited her mother Jaclyn Jose’s wake.
According to Ogie, Cory Vidanes told Andi that whenever she decides to return to showbiz, they are ready to accept and support her. “And something like, ‘Kung may balak kang bumalik sa showbiz, we are just here waiting for you.’ Natuwa si Andi na parang… may asim pa pala ako,” Ogie said. “Sabi naman ni Andi sa akin… hindi naman daw niya sinasara ‘yung pinto pero sa ngayon daw hindi niya naiisip bumalik kasi nga eh busy siya du’n sa Siargao,” he added.
As of press time, Andi Eigenmann has yet to give any updates regarding her alleged comeback in the world of Philippine show business.
