SAMAR – Tragedy struck in Barangay Cagmanipis Norte, Tinambacan District, Calbayog City as a 13-year-old boy lost his life to electrocution while bathing in the rain.

Speaking of which, tragedy struck in Barangay Cagmanipis Norte, Tinambacan District, Calbayog City, Samar, as a 13-year-old boy lost his life to electrocution while bathing in the rain. The incident occurred on Wednesday around 2:30 p.m. according to the boy’s grandfather, who witnessed the unfortunate event.
Young Eugine Gotido was enjoying the refreshing rain when an electric post’s live wire accidentally fell to the ground, unbeknownst to him. Apparently, he failed to notice the dangerous wire and inadvertently came into contact with it, resulting in a fatal electrocution.
The Samar Provincial Police Office was informed of the incident on Thursday, June 1, at 6:52 p.m.
