Director Darryl Yap takes swipe at trailer of “Ako si Ninoy”, directed by Vince Tañada
DARRYL YAP – The controversial director took a swipe at the trailer of “Ako si Ninoy” directed by Vince Tañada.
Yap is considered one of the most popular directors in the country today. He rose to stardom when he launched the Facebook page, Vincentiments, which he created together with his colleague and friend Vincent Asis. The Facebook page boomed and currently has over 5 million followers.
He is behind the hit movies and independent films such as #Jowable, Tililing and to name a few. He’s also one of the staunch supporters of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., and Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio.
One of his hit projects is the controversial film, Maid in Malacañang, a movie about the last 72 hours of the Marcos family in the Palace. He’s currently gearing up for its sequel titled: Marytr or Murderer which is slated to hit theaters next year.
He’s presently in Morocco for the shooting of the highly anticipated movie. Recently, he went to the social networking site, Facebook wherein he took a swipe at the trailer of “Ako si Ninoy” directed by Vince Tañada. The movie is said to face off MoM in theaters.
In a post, he wrote: “wait lang po, shinoshoot pa yung sasabitan nyo.” In another post, he noted: “gayang-gaya naman yung #MiM hahahaha! taenang tae ’to, di na lang namatay kaninang 9:30pm.”
