Paolo clarified in a casual and calm manner the reason behind his apparent weight loss. During the media conference for the movie “Fuchsia Libre,” Paolo stated that he lost weight in preparation for his role in the film, particularly because it involved fight scenes.
He dismissed rumors circulating that he was a “drug addict,” asserting they were untrue. “After A Journey I had to lose weight for the role, this one, kaya tuloy-tuloy… kaya hindi po totoong adik ako,” he said. “Hindi po totoong nag-aadik ako…,” he added.
When asked about rumors of a breakup with his girlfriend Yen Santos, Paolo opted for a quick “No comment” response, indicating he preferred to avoid discussing the matter. Recently, social media buzzed with observations from netizens noticing the deletion of the actress’s birthday greeting post to him, previously calling him her “best friend.” Notably, Paolo’s Instagram account showed he wasn’t following anyone, including Yen.
Meanwhile, Paolo Contis is an actor, host, singer, and comedian of Italian descent. His career began as a child actor on the popular ABS-CBN show “Ang TV” during the 1990s. Despite appearing in well-known teleseryes like “Mara Clara,” he gained prominence through programs like “Ang TV” and the sitcom “Oki Doki Doc.”
