In a short video message uploaded on the official Facebook page of Sparkle GMA Artist Center, Paolo expressed gratitude to the viewers as their reunion movie (Tabing Ilog” stars Kaye Abad and Patrick Garcia) topped the charts on the mentioned online streaming platform.
“I just wanna thank all of you for making our movie ‘A Journey’ number 1 sa Netflix,” he said. “Maraming-maraming salamat po sa mga nakanood na. Sa mga hindi pa po nakakanood, please watch it. Still streaming on Netflix worldwide. Again, thank you very much.”
Paolo joked that his hair turned black due to extreme happiness. “Ang saya-saya po namin. Sobrang saya po namin. Kita n’yo naman nangitim na ‘yong buhok ko…”
This garnered positive reactions and comments from netizens. They praised Paolo’s acting skills and expressed appreciation for the movie. However, some viewers admitted they watched the film for Kaye and Patrick, not specifically for Paolo.
Meanwhile, netizens also observed that Paolo seemed stressed and aged in the video message. One even jokingly blamed Paolo’s current girlfriend, Yen Santos. Paolo has yet to respond to the comments about his appearance from netizens.
