The first scene of Ruru Madrid and Angeli Khang in “Black Rider” is a kissing scene
RURU MADRID – The Kapuso actor admitted he was surprised when his first scene with Vivamax A-Lister Angeli Khang in the entry of the actress’s character in “Black Rider” turned out to be a kissing scene.
In Nelson Canlas’s Chika Minute report on GMA News “24 Oras” on Tuesday, he mentioned that the story of the GMA Prime series would heat up even more with Angeli and other new characters joining the series. “Awkward kasi siyempre first time naming mag-meet today [kissing scene agad],” Ruru said.
“Pagdating ko sa set, walang signal dahil nasa Tanay kami, pag-check ko, ‘Totoo nga, may kissing scene nga, at kanino?’ ‘Kay Miss Angeli Khang’ Medyo nagulat ako na meron na agad ganu’ng eksena,” the actor added.
Angeli jokingly said, “Sabi nga namin, ‘Wala man lang bonding? Ito na ang bonding natin, kiss na agad.'” She also added, “Para sa mga viewes, trabaho lang po, professional.”
According to Ruru, he didn’t immediately tell his girlfriend Bianca about the scene because there was no cellphone signal in their shooting location. Ruru explained that he and Bianca agreed not to hide anything from each other and to be transparent about scenes like these.
Angeli’s character will be Ruru’s new love interest, and she admitted to being nervous about her very first teleseries, which is outside her comfort zone. She expressed that transitioning from movies to a teleseries has been enjoyable, feeling like being part of a big family.
Also included in the series’s new characters are Lianne Valentin, Luke Conde, BJ Forbes, Epy Quizon, Madam Inutz, William Lorenzo, Yul Servo, and Matet De Leon. Starring in the series are Yassi Pressman, Herlene Budol, Raymond Bagatsing, Rio Locsin, Jestoni Alarcon, and Jon Lucas.
