KAYE BERNARDO – The sister of Kathryn Bernardo, left a cryptic post on Instagram and Facebook on Friday, January 12, 2024.

Kaye shared the intriguing post after Kathryn unfollowed her ex-boyfriend, Daniel Padilla, on Instagram on Thursday, January 11, more than a month after KathNiel publicly announced their breakup on November 30, 2023. In addition to Daniel, Kathryn also unfollowed her fellow actresses Liza Soberano, Julia Barretto, and Gillian Vicencio.

Kaye’s mysterious post features a photo of a mask with the words, “WE KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER,” accompanied by the lyrics of Destiny’s Child’s song “Say My Name” in the caption.

Speculation intensified as netizens read Kaye’s meaningful caption, which included references to past years: “(2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2023) – [claps, trophy, and masks emojis] and the very first one that I know (2014). [eyes emoji].”

It’s also noteworthy that two of Kathryn’s close friends, Trina Guytingco and Arisse De Santos, left comments on this Instagram post. Trina’s comment consisted of cursing face emojis, while Arisse’s showed emojis of two people hugging.

It remains unclear whom Kaye is referring to in her post, but many netizens suspect that Daniel is the subject of her cryptic message. According to information from PEP.ph, Kathryn’s decision to unfollow Daniel, as well as Liza, Julia, and Gillian, on Instagram has a deeper reason.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time Kaye has posted a meaningful message on social media following her sister’s breakup with Daniel. On December 1, 2023, she initially posted about “karma.” Earlier, Kathryn Bernardo made a buzz online after she was linked to Kapamilya actor Donny Pangilinan. The latter has already refuted the claims about them which started after the actor approached the actress during the wedding reception after-party of Robi Domingo.
