Here’s the reaction of Donny Pangilinan after being linked to Kathryn Bernardo
DONNY PANGILINAN – The actor has reacted after being linked to Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo.
On Saturday, January 6, Robi exchanged vows with his longtime girlfriend, Maiqui Pineda. Donny and Kathryn were among the guests at the wedding ceremony. On January 10, Robi shared a video of Kathryn on the microblogging site X, previously known as Twitter.
In the video, the actress is captured dancing joyfully with Rose Fausto at the wedding reception after-party. Donny approached Kathryn on the dance floor, gently tapping her on the arm and engaging in conversation. Subsequently, Donny went to the side of the dance floor, where another celebrity guest, Joshua Garcia, was present.
Some online users perceived Donny’s actions towards Kathryn as a romantic gesture. One netizen commented, “hi @donnypangilinan ganto ka pala pag interested ka sa babae”. The netizen included the hashtag #DonBelle, alluding to the pairing of Donny and Belle Mariano.
Donny Pangilinan has addressed his linking with Kathryn Bernardo. In an interview with Pop Life, Donny addressed the video. “Syempre wedding ng friend namin yon, we had a great time. Lahat naman kami friends in showbiz eh. Binabantayan namin ang isa’t-isa. Ayun. Yun lang yun. I think for me, it’s just, having peace of mind na friends kami lahat and okay kami, enjoy namin trabaho namin and that’s the most important thing.”
Meanwhile, Robi made it clear that they share a strong friendship and support each other. Both Donny and Darren Espanto, serving as groomsmen, played a role in attending to the guests. Robi stressed that there are no problems, stating, “Just for the record: we’re all friends here. We’ve got each other’s backs. No issues, please. Also, being the groomsmen, @donny and @Espanto2001 helped us out in taking care of all of the guests,” he mentioned.
