Robi Domingo Addresses Link Between Donny Pangilinan and Kathryn Bernardo
ROBI DOMINGO – The Kapamilya TV host addressed speculation surrounding his friends Donny Pangilinan and Kathryn Bernardo.
It was on Saturday, January 6, when Robi tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Maiqui Pineda. Among the guests during their nuptials were Donny and Kathryn. On January 10, Robi took to the microblogging site, X (formerly known as Twitter), where he reposted a video of Kathryn.
In the video, the actress can be seen joyfully dancing with Rose Fausto at the wedding reception after-party. Donny was seen approaching Kathryn on the dance floor, tapping her on the arm, and engaging in conversation. Shortly after, Donny moved to the side of the dance floor, where another celebrity guest, Joshua Garcia, was present.
Some netizens interpreted Donny’s approach to Kathryn as a romantic gesture, with one commenting, “hi @donnypangilinan ganto ka pala pag interested ka sa babae”. The netizen used the hashtag #DonBelle, referring to the pairing of Donny and Belle Mariano.
In response to the speculation, Robi clarified that they are all friends and have each other’s backs. As the groomsmen, both Donny and Darren Espanto assisted in taking care of the guests. Robi emphasized that there are no issues. “Just for the record: we’re all friends here. We’ve got each other’s backs. No issues, please. Also, being the groomsmen, @donny and @Espanto2001 helped us out in taking care of all of the guests,” he noted.
Notably, Daniel Padilla, Kathryn’s ex-boyfriend, was also a guest at the wedding. To recall, it was on November 30 when Kathryn officially confirmed the conclusion of her enduring relationship with Daniel Padilla. Posting nostalgic photos and a heartfelt message on Instagram, she captioned it with “Chapter closed.” Subsequently, Daniel shared a photo with Kathryn on Instagram, conveying the profound significance of love in life.
