Miles Ocampo: “We started this year na okay kami, nag-uusap na ulit.”
MILES OCAMPO – The “Family of Two” actress said that she and actor Elijah Canlas are on speaking terms again.
She said this when she appeared in the latest episode of Karen Davila’s vlog where she was asked about the current status of her relationship with the actor.
In an interview with Karen Davila, Miles said that she and Elijah are on speaking terms again but they’re just as friends. She even considered him as her “true love”.
According to the actress, she has forgiven both Elijah and herself despite their individual shortcomings throughout their relationship of more than 2 years.
“Of course sa isang relationship hindi lang naman isang tao, parang you have to make it work, kayong dalawa,” Miles said. “Siyempre may mga pagkukulang at ano rin, ‘yung isa’t isa. Pero I’m happy na naiwan ‘yung lahat ng issues namin sa 2023.”
She then admitted that she still has love and respect for him, especially since the two had a lot of happy memories together.
It can be recalled that Elijah announced last November 2023 that he and Miles have broken up “a couple of months ago”. At that time, he said that they went through a rough patch that led to their separation.
Elijah also explained that he and Miles each had “personal stuff” that affected their relationship.

Miles was asked in an ambush interview with ABS-CBN News after the press conference of “Family of Two” last December what she promised herself to do after her previous relationship. According to her, she “will love myself more this time”.
Elijah and Miles first confirmed their relationship in May 2022.
