Elijah Canlas: “We went through a rough patch recently mainly because we are going through our own stuff”
ELIJAH CANLAS – The actor-singer shared that he and actress Miles Ocampo broke up and it happened “a couple of months ago”.
The actor currently stars in the television series “Senior High” and recently released his debut single titled “Kilala Kita”, which was first featured in the series. His other television projects include “Suntok sa Buwan”, “The Iron Heart”, and “My Fantastic Pag-ibig”.
Elijah also starred in the boys’ love web series “Gameboys” in 2020 and headlined the movie “Keys to the Heart” on Netflix. The actor is set to be part of the upcoming film “GomBurZa” – one of the official entries for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Elijah said that he and Miles went through a rough patch because they’re going through their own personal stuff.
The actor-singer also shared that he and the actress are on good terms despite not being together anymore. According to him, he will be Miles Ocampo’s number one fan.
“I’m always gonna have love for her and I’m always gonna support her with whatever she does and I’ll always be her number one fan, basically. But right now, we are just taking our time figuring out ourselves and our lives right now.”
It can be recalled that Miles Ocampo and Elijah Canlas went public about their relationship in May 2022. The actor shared in an interview with Ogie Diaz last year that he and the actress started dating in 2021.
In a “Time to Talk” episode that was uploaded on PH Time’s YouTube channel last July, Elijah said in an interview with Butch Francisco that Miles would be his last girlfriend.
