Veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez recently passed away, and earlier, Janno posted a picture on his Instagram account while in Japan.

JANNO GIBBS – The singer-comedian slammed a netizen questioning their trip to Japan amid the passing of his father, Ronaldo Valdez.
Valdez, a veteran actor, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at the age of 76. His death was confirmed by the Quezon City Police District (QCPD). He is survived by his wife Maria Fe Gibbs and two children, including the well-known actor and comedian Janno Gibbs.
According to a Daily Tribune report, there are indications that Valdez might have taken his own life. He had been battling depression since undergoing a prostate cancer operation in December 2022 at Cardinal Santos Hospital. His lifeless body was discovered by his driver, Angelito Oclarit, in Unit 25 Casa Nueva Homes, No. 15 Manga Street, Barangay Mariana, New Manila, Quezon City. Valdez was found seated, bloodied, with a gun still in one hand.
The Scene of the Crime Operatives from QCPD Forensic Unit, led by P/Cpt. Adhrin Domingo, recovered a caliber .45 Norinco pistol with serial number 454697, along with an empty magazine, a fired cartridge case, and a gun case containing an empty magazine beside the deceased. Upon further examination, it was revealed that the actor had gunshot wounds on both his right and left temple, suggesting that he took his own life.
Amid his passing, Janno Gibbs took to the social media platform Instagram, wherein he posted a glimpse of their trip to Japan during New Year. In the caption, he noted: “Happy New Year from The Gibbs and our extended fam.”
One netizen who captured his attention commented: “Your father just passed away.” To which he replied: “I know. And?” In another comment, the netizen wrote: “sadness does not seem to exist… not judging maybe behind each post you’re all still crying inside.” Janno Gibbs responded with: “You are judging. Shame on you.”
