Richard Gutierrez: “Sana. Sana! I’m praying for that actually”
RICHARD GUTIERREZ – Here’s what the actor said when he was asked about the possibility of a full-length action project with his wife Sarah Lahbati.
In a post-media conference interview during his contract renewal with ABS-CBN last October 26, the actor revealed what made his wife agree to the cameo as he praised her suitability for the action genre.
Richard also emphasized that he had long believed in Sarah’s potential.
The actor then expressed his hope when he was asked about the possibility of a full-length action project with his wife.
“Sana. Sana! I’m praying for that actually,” he said.
This comes on the heels of Sarah’s unexpected cameo in the recent conclusion of ABS-CBN primetime show “The Iron Heart”. In the last scene of the final episode, it was her mysterious character who assigned a new mission to Apollo.
Even before Sarah’s surprise cameo in “The Iron Heart”, Richard was asked in an interview with the Philippine Star if his wife was ever going to appear in the series.
In response, he previously acknowledged that it would be a challenge for him and his wife working simultaneously, given their roles as parents to their two children. But he also said that he was supportive of his wife’s return to acting or guest appearances, given their aligned schedules.
Richard Gutierrez is presently taking a break before gearing up for another action-oriented project. The actor mentioned that a new TV series is in the works for the 1st quarter of 2024 and he also stressed the need for careful planning to surpass the achievements of “The Iron Heart”.
