Chie Filomeno defends Barbie Imperial against a “many*k” commenter

BARBIE IMPERIAL – The actress was defended by Chie Filomeno from a “lewd” commenter.

Barbie Imperial, an actress, model, and dancer from Daraga, Albay, gained attention in 2015 by participating in Pinoy Big Brother: 737, earning the moniker “The Doll along the Riles of Albay” due to her doll-like features. After her PBB stint, she made guest appearances in Maalaala Mo Kaya, portraying roles such as Hannah, Glaiza, and even herself in her personal story. She was also part of It’s Showtime as a Girltrends member.

Her career ascended in February 2018 when she played an antagonist role in Wansapanataym: “Gelli in a Bottle,” portraying the main villain, Rachel San Pedro. However, her breakthrough came in 2018 with her leading role as Michelle Verano in “Araw Gabi” alongside JM de Guzman.

Recently, Barbie Imperial took to the social media platform Instagram, posting snapshots with her friends accompanied by the caption: “proof of life.” As usual, it generated mixed reactions from netizens, but one commenter attracted attention due to his “lewd” comment. The commenter stated that Barbie’s post was boring because it wasn’t revealing.

Chie Filomeno defended Barbie saying that the latter’s post wasn’t boring, whether revealing or not. She also told the commenter to leave Barbie’s Instagram. She noted: “naka”tupis” man siya o hindi, hindi siya boring. Many*k mo, umalis ka dito. .”

Barbie, on the other hand, responded to her friend’s comment. Many netizens were pleased with what Chie did because they said not everyone can stand up for other women against such disrespect.

Meanwhile, “many*k” is a Filipino slang term used to refer to someone who behaves in a lewd or perverted manner, particularly someone who makes inappropriate or s*xually suggestive comments or actions. The term is often used to describe individuals who act in a s*xually harassing or inappropriate way.
