Here’s Jane de Leon’s message to fans shipping her with Janella Salvador
JANE DE LEON – The actress gave a message to those who are shipping her with fellow actress Janella Salvador.
It seems that bashers were proven wrong for saying that Jane has no career after starring in the TV remake of “Darna.” Jane is one of the lead stars in Regal Entertainment’s “Shake, Rattle & Roll Extreme,” in the episode titled “Rage,” and aside from this, she has five more movies lined up.
In addition to this, she will have a follow-up teleserye on ABS-CBN after “Darna” next year. Recently, it was announced that Jane’s next movie is “How To Be A Good Wife,” where she will be joined by her “Darna” co-star Janella Salvador. It will be directed by Jun Robles Lana.
Because of this, their fans, who have long been requesting for them to be paired again in a project, were delighted. In fact, the photo of Jane and Janella is currently trending on social media.
However, Jane did not confirm if the theme of “How To Be A Good Wife” is GL (Girls Love), which their supporters are anticipating. The actress said there’s no problem with fans shipping her with Janella. “If kaligayahan nila yun, ibibigay namin. Kasi, nag-e-enjoy din naman kami. Sobrang nagpapasalamat kami sa mga fans,” she said according to Bandera.
Meanwhile, Jane Florence Benitez De Leon is an actress, model, dancer, and philanthropist. Initially gaining recognition through pageantry and modeling, she transitioned into minor roles in both film and television.
Jane’s career reached new heights in 2019 when she was chosen to play the iconic role of Darna after a rigorous audition process. Despite being relatively new to the industry, she won the coveted role, earning unanimous approval from ABS-CBN executives and director Jerold Tarog.
However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film project was postponed indefinitely, and a Darna TV series, also starring Jane, was developed in its place. In 2021, she joined the cast of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” as a guest cast and later started preparing for her role as Darna, which premiered in August 2022.
