Megastar Sharon Cuneta Finally Meets Her K-pop Idol Taemin
SHARON CUNETA – The Megastar, sat down on the floor, crying tears of joy, after personally meeting and conversing with her K-pop idol, Taemin.
Taemin, who is 30 years old, is a singer, actor, and dancer from the famous South Korean boy band, SHINee. On Friday, October 13, 2023, Taemin performed in the K-Magic Live concert held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Apart from Taemin, his fellow K-pop idols, Yugyeom from GOT7 and Hyoyeon from Girls Generation, also performed. Sharon proudly shared this dream come true encounter through her Instagram.
In her consecutive posts, she shared photos with Taemin, as well as a video showing how she approached the K-pop idol backstage to request a selfie. According to Sharon, she didn’t expect to meet her ultimate idol, whom she described as kind, humble, and even more handsome in person.
“Di ko kinakaya ito! So unexpected! I didn’t even make a request, but God was watching me. Thank you so much Taeminssi! You are so nice and humble and more handsome in person. Like I promised, I will always pray for you! God bless you!” she said.
Meanwhile, the comments section of her Instagram post was flooded with support from some of her fans, including SHINee’s fanbase known as the “Shawols.” In May 2022, Sharon also met another member of SHINee, Key, when she attended the Begin Again: KPOP Edition concert held at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
