Ricci Rivero and Leren Mae Bautista Are in a Relationship
RICCI RIVERO – The basketball player has finally confirmed his relationship with beauty queen-politician Leren Mae Bautista.
Rivero took to the social media platform Instagram, where he posted some photos confirming his relationship with Bautista. According to him, he feels blessed because he has finally found the right one. “Hindi tayo magtatago dahil walang dapat ikahiya. Walang nang agaw at walang inagaw. Walang bibitaw dahil masaya tayong magka hawak kamay,” he noted.
He also praised his girlfriend for genuinely continuing to help other people despite some trying to ruin her reputation. Ricci assured Leren that he will always be there with her, inspiring people to become better. In the last part of his post, he promised to never again live a life manipulated by someone’s fantasy.
To recall, Leren Mae Bautista, a Miss Universe Philippines 2021 candidate currently serving as a councilor in Los Baños, Laguna, was rumored to be the third party in the breakup of Ricci and actress Andrea Brillantes.
At the time, Leren issued a statement to address the accusations, vehemently denying any romantic involvement with Ricci. Her camp emphasized that the rumors circulating on social media had no basis. They highlighted Leren’s dedication to serving the community of Los Baños with honesty and integrity, a commitment shaped by the trust and support of the people she represents.
On the other hand, Ricci denied that Leren was the reason for his breakup with Andrea. However, after a month or two, they were spotted sharing sweet moments together. One was at the mall, and the other was at the park in Laguna. They were also seen holding each other’s hands at an amusement park.
Despite these denials, some netizens remained skeptical, drawing their own conclusions from the photos posted on social media. Some even made light of the situation, playfully referring to Ricci as Leren’s “aunt” due to their 5-year age difference, with the councilor being older than the newly-drafted PBA player.
