Francine Garcia speaks anew after being linked to Chavit Singson’s Son
FRANCINE GARCIA – The Super Sireyna 2013 winner took the opportunity to set the record straight regarding her alleged romantic involvement with Luis Christian Singson, the son of former Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson.
She addressed the issue during a livestream event promoting her product in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, where she made it clear that she and Christian were not in a romantic relationship. According to Francine, Christian was already pursuing someone else at the time, making it unlikely for them to be romantically involved.
She explicitly stated, “So aamin na talaga, may girlfriend talaga ni Christian, taken na siya.” However, Christian subsequently clarified that he was still in the process of courting the said woman, implying that they were not officially in a relationship yet.
This misunderstanding between Francine and Christian gained widespread attention on social media when netizens mistakenly assumed that they were a couple based on a photograph posted by the transgender beauty queen. Nevertheless, Francine was firm in asserting that there was no romantic connection between her and Christian, and she even deleted the photo taken during their vacation in Ilocos.
In her frustration, Francine exclaimed, “HINDI KO JOWA SI LCS! KALOKA KAYO! TANTANAN NYO AT HINDI NAKAKAALIW! AY NAKO!! KAYA HINDI TALAGA MAGPOPOST NG JOWA SA TUNAY NA BUHAY AT MASYADONG MAGULO!”
Meanwhile, netizens had mixed reactions to Francine’s statement. Some encouraged her not to worry about labels and to do what makes her happy. Others used the hashtag #Gandaproblems, indicating that these kinds of glamorous issues are part of her life. Some suggested that perhaps she should consider making their relationship real, while others simply expressed their support and did not see anything wrong with the situation. Some netizens felt excited (kilig) about the possible romantic connection, while others hoped that if it was real, it would work out because they believed Francine and Luis looked good together.
