Claudine Barretto: “Ako rin inaabangan ko rin pero …”
CLAUDINE BARRETTO – Here’s what the actress said when she spoke about the rumored movie with Judy Ann Santos.
The actress has confirmed the possibility of doing a comeback movie with Judy Ann. However, she said in an interview with reporters on Monday that they’re still looking for the right material.
“Ako rin inaabangan ko rin pero naghahanap pa talaga ng magandang proyekto,” Claudine said. “Of course, sinabi ko rin naman. Yes, we are friends naman.“
It can be recalled that she said in an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” last May that she’s still hoping that she and Judy Ann will have a movie together.
Judy Ann, in an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” last June, said that she wants to have a project with Claudine not just because of what their supporters are asking for, but because she thinks it would be a “very interesting” project.
Aside from this, Judy Ann admitted that she was touched to hear Claudine’s kind words for her when the latter guested on the show. According to her, she got teary-eyed over Claudine’s thoughts on their rivalry back in the ’90s and they never really had the chance to be close when they were kids at that time.
Meanwhile, Judy Ann said in an interview with reporters last August that she has received quite a number of story pitches but nothing for the rumored project with Claudine.
She also said that she has gotten “inquiries” about a possible schedule that could bring her and Claudine together. According to her, she’s still looking forward to teaming up with Claudine on the big screen.
“May tumawag pero wala pang nag push through na pitching,” Judy Ann said in a media interview at that time. “May inquiries kung may schedule na kung pwede, pero wala pang nagpi-pitch ng konsepto.”
