A Facebook user named Rache Sodsod has shared her hilarious encounter with a male customer at a coffee shop. The post immediately spread like wildfire online and elicits reactions from the netizens.
Sodsod recounted the charming conversation that took place at her counter, bringing a smile to the faces of all who read it. The encounter happened during her shift as a ‘barista’ at Starbucks.
The male customer ordered “Miss, isang barista nga”, which caught Rache off guard, and she couldn’t help but chuckle at the thought that the customer wants to purchase a fellow barista.
Rache inquired, “Po?” to clarify the order and the customer replied, “Barista Drink daw”. The playfulness of the exchange left Rache amused.
“Nangyari po ‘yun last Aug 10 so ako ‘yung naka-assign sa POS nun. May umorder na customer sa’kin, ang sabi niya ‘Miss, isang barista nga.’ So nagulat na natawa po ako nun kasi akala ko bibili na ng isang barista si sir kaya nag-ask ako sabi ko ‘Po?’ Ang sabi niya Barista Drink daw,” Sodsod said.
The coffee shop employee explained that Starbucks offers a drink fittingly named the “Barista Drink” featuring a delightful combination of white mocha, breve, no water, and Americano.

“Meron kasi talagang drink na ganyan si Starbucks which is ‘yung white mocha, breve, no water, americano. Best seller talaga namin niyan haha,” she added.
