Awra Briguela Breaks Social Media Hiatus, Returns To Social Media After Bar Incident

Actor-comedian Awra Briguela broke his social media hiatus.

AWRA BRIGUELA – The actor-comedian recently broke his social media hiatus as he returned to social media after over a month.

Although he has remained mum on his involvement in a Makati bar brawl last June 2023, he marked his return by promoting hisupcoming comedy series on his social media accounts.

It can be recalled that the actor-comedian was arrested by the Makati Police last June 29, 2023 after a fistfight with the group of complainant Mark Christian Ravana outside the Bolt Hole Bar in Poblacion, Makati.

Awra was charged with physical injuries, alarm and scandal, disobedience to authority, and direct assault. The actor-comedian was released last July 1, 2023 after posting bail amounting to PHP 6,000.

Meanwhile, posters of the upcoming comedy series “Comedy Island Philippines” were shown on Awra’s Instagram and X (formerly known as Twitter) pages. He also limited the users who can comment on those post.

Starring Carlo Aquino, Andrea Brillantes, Jerald Napoles, Rufa Mae Quinto, Cai Cortez, Drew Arellano, Justine Luzares, and Awra Briguela, the comedy series will soon stream on Prime Video starting August 31, 2023.

In a statement released last July 27, 2023, Prime Video said that the six-part series will launch with 3 episodes streaming back-to-back each week over a two-week period — from August 31 to September 7 — and will be available on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
