Charlie Diazon and Carlo Aquino are in a relationship
CHARLIE DIZON – The actress has finally confirmed her relationship with actor Carlo Aquino.
During her guesting on TV5’s Gud Morning Kapatid, the 27-year-old actress candidly revealed that she is in a relationship with the 37-year-old actor. It was the first time she openly shared this information with the public.
Charlie Dizon elaborated on their romance, explaining that their connection seemed to click despite their contrasting personalities. She described herself as talkative, while Carlo is more reserved, creating a balanced dynamic between them.
The rumors about Charlie and Carlo’s relationship started circulating when she posted affectionate photos of them together on social media. Later, Carlo confirmed their dating status during an interview with ABS-CBN News in January.
According to Carlo, they got to know each other better during the Star Magic U.S. tour last year, where they were both part of “A Soldier’s Heart.” The tour allowed them to spend more time together, leading to the start of their relationship when they returned home.
Carlo shared that they even spent the New Year holiday together with his family in La Union, as his brother and sister-in-law, who were abroad due to the pandemic, were finally able to come home.
The couple’s professional lives are also intertwined as they are set to co-star in the upcoming film “Third World Romance,” produced by Black Sheep, which is scheduled to be released nationwide on August 16.
As of press time, Carlo Aquino has yet to issue any statement regarding Charlie Dizon’s confirmation of their relationship.
