Diana Zubiri to Sunshine Dizon: “Hasne ivo live Pirena. E correi diu”
SUNSHINE DIZON – The actress received a birthday message from fellow actress Diana Zubiri, but the message is in “Encantadia” language.
Diana Zubiri played the role of “Danaya” in the original version of Kapuso fantasy series “Encantadia”, while Sunshine Dizon played the role of “Pirena” in the series.
Sunshine is celebrating her birthday on Monday, July 3, 2023.
Diana posted a series of photos on her social media account along with a short message for Sunshine to mark the latter’s special day. Fellow actress Iza Calzado and Karylle are also present in those photos as well.

In the caption of her social media post, Diana greeted Sunshine by telling her, “Hasne ivo live Pirena. E correi diu.” (Happy birthday Pirena. I love you.) She even set the geotag of her post to “Encantadia, Lireo” — the kingdom of the Diwata in the Encantadia world.
Friends and fans of the two sent birthday greetings to Sunshine in the comments section of Diana’s post – including actor-politician Alfred Vargas, who played the role of “Aquil” in the series.
Meanwhile, Karylle (the original “Alena”), posted a tweet to her 2016 counterpart Gabbi Garcia when the Kapuso actress appeared on the GTV premiere of Kapamilya noontime show “It’s Showtime”.
Iza Calzado also named her first child after her character, Amihan.
