Sunshine Dizon Speaks on Breakup w/ Husband Timothy Tan
SUNSHINE DIZON – The Kapuso actress revealed that she had experienced living with her husband, Timothy Tan, in one house but different rooms.
One of the downsides of living a celebrity life is that the ugly or hurtful pages of your life may not skip the eye of the public. There were several instances when a breakup experienced by a celebrity sparked headlines and they had to deal with the questions of the people around apart from the pains they were going through.
One of the celebrities whose breakup with her partner was controversial is Kapuso actress Sunshine Dizon. She and her non-showbiz partner, Timothy Tan, separated in 2016.
It was 6 years after their wedding when the marriage of Sunshine and Timothy fell. The infidelity on the part of the non-showbiz man was cited as the reason behind their separation. They have two (2) children – Doreen and Anton.
There were a lot of bitter pages on the breakup of Sunshine and Timothy. Things even led to the actress filing a case against her husband.
Despite her bravery because she was mad, during her appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Sunshine Dizon admitted that she also swallowed her pride for her children. She revealed that then, she and Timothy Tan were living in the same house but different rooms so their children will have a complete family.
According to Sunshine, Timothy kneeled down to him as he wanted to be with their children so, being a mother who also wants to let her children see that they are still together despite the mistake of their father, she gave her husband what he was asking.
“I swallowed my pride because I wanted my kids to see that, no matter what, nagkamali man ang tatay nila, pamilya pa rin kami,” the actress expressed.
During the interview, Sunshine Dizon admitted that she still does not have an answer to the question about where she lacked why her marriage resulted that way. She stressed that Timothy Tan was her best friend and she just woke up one day that he is already a different person.
