Dafnie Montesa, a Facebook user, shared a photo of her hand after catching her beloved pet dog’s poop in a public place, and the post garnered various reactions from social media users.
Montesa described how she and her furry friend left the pet shop after a grooming session. Not long after they left, her dog companion had to relieve itself, but it seemed uneasy with the surroundings and resisted doing so during their stay at the shop.
However, the moment came as soon as they went outdoors. Dafnie found herself in a quandary, unsure of how to approach the issue, as she felt an overwhelming sense of urgency and duty.
With quick instincts to act, Montesa made a split-second decision that showcased the traits of a responsible fur parent. She stepped in to catch her pet dog’s poop, taking it upon herself to clean up the mess.
“Kakalabas palang namin noon sa shop, nagpa-groom kasi siya, hindi siguro siya comfortable na doon mag-poop kaya paglabas namin tsaka nangyari. Nung alam ko na mag-poop na siya, nataranta ako. Hindi ko alam gagawin ko kaya sinalo ko na lang,” Montesa said.
The fur mommy clarified that she had indeed brought along a poop bag, which she always carries in her pet’s backpack whenever they go out. The backpack holds all the necessities her fur baby might need during their outings.

She even had a diaper on her dog that she had tried to put on before leaving the grooming session. However, the dog did not feel comfortable wearing it, so she took it off. She had no idea she would need it sooner than she expected.
“Meron ako[ng] dala lagi na backpack niya, andun lahat ng essentials niya kapag umaalis kami. Actually ‘yung diaper niya sinuot ko ‘yun sa kanya bago kami umalis sa grooming kaso ayaw niya suotin kaya tinanggal ko na lang. Ang bilis talaga ng pangyayari na kahit meron ako[ng] dala [na] poop bag, hindi na ako nakapag-isip [nang] mabuti,” she added.
