Bea Alonzo: “Definitely next year. Hindi ko pa masabi kasi hindi ko pa nakakausap ang planners namin.”
BEA ALONZO – The actress and content creator revealed that she and her fiancé Dominic Roque will “definitely” get married sometime “next year”.
The actress said in an interview with Nelson Canlas on “24 Oras” last July 21 that she’s excited to marry her fiancé but they haven’t started planning their wedding yet. According to her, they both know what they want and it’s “not going to be a grand wedding”.
Bea also said that she doesn’t know where fate will lead them because it’s too soon to tell. She added that they will “definitely” get married sometime “next year” but she can’t say how their wedding will go because they haven’t talked to their planners yet.
The actress said that she and her fiancé haven’t picked their suppliers yet. But when it comes to her wedding gown, she admitted that she already has “one designer” in mind.
“I have a designer in mind na talagang when I was a little girl, I would think about weddings, siya ‘yung naiisip ko,” she said.
In the same interview, Bea said she initially thought Dominic would propose to her in November. GMA Integrated News’ “24 Oras” also reported that Dominic Roque and Bea Alonzo are set to hold the traditional “pamamanhikan” with their families “soon”.
It can be recalled that Bea Alonzo announced last July 19 that she and Dominic are engaged. The wedding proposal, according to her, happened last July 18 at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Quezon City.
Dominic then posted a video of his wedding proposal to his now-fiancée on his social media account a day after he celebrated his 33rd birthday.
In an interview with Inquirer at a press conference for Kapuso Network’s new reality talent search “Battle of the Judges”, Bea said that her mom has been constantly teasing her about having new grandkids.
But the actress said that she wants to get married first before having a baby. According to her, her dream is to “get married first and then build a family with blessing from the Lord”.
