Celebrity couple Dominic Roque and Bea Alonzo are officially engaged
DOMINIC ROQUE AND BEA ALONZO – The celebrity couple are now officially engaged.
Actress Bea Alonzo recently posted a series of photos of their special life event on her social media account and also shared what happened at that time.
It was last August 2021 when actress Bea Alonzo confirmed her relationship with actor Dominic Roque.
In the caption of her social media post, Bea said that the proposal took place at sunset in Las Casas on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 where she was “there for a shoot”. She also shared that photographer Mark Nicdao kept telling her to turn around in the middle of the shoot as he saw an angle that he wanted to shoot at that time.
The actress added that she “found it odd” to turn around but she followed what the photographer said and when she turned around, she “found Dom kneeling with a box in his hand”.
“You see, I have done so many proposal scenes in my entire career, but nothing beats the real thing. I have been doing it all wrong!” Bea shared. “Dom said his speech, and it’s like time stood still.”
Bea also said that everything went in slow motion and she felt different emotions all at the same time.

Fellow celebrities sent their congratulatory messages to the couple in the comments section of Bea’s post – including Jak Roberto, Rica Peralejo, Ivana Alawi, Kristine Hermosa, Yasmien Kurdi, Rita Daniela, and Dianne Medina.
“I want this real thing to happen forever… and right then there… In front of the people we love… we decided on forever…” Bea said.
To recall, rumors swirled about Bea and Dominic’s engagement as early as last month after Dominic posted about their romantic beachside date. Bea quickly denied the speculations and clarified that she’s not yet engaged to Dominic at that time.
Last week, Bea admitted in an interview with Boy Abunda that she and Dominic did talk about marriage but that they have their “own timeline”.
