Rowena Guanzon Reacts to Aiko Melendez’s TikTok Inside the Session Hall Issue

Here’s the reaction of Rowena Guanzon to TikTok videos of Aiko Melendez inside the QC session hall

ROWENA GUANZON – The P3PWD party-list representative reacted to the controversial TikTok videos of Aiko Melendez.

The Quezon City District 5 Councilor is currently making rounds online after she uploaded two videos while dancing inside the QC session hall. Melendez was accompanied by other officials, including actor and SK Federation President Julian Trono.

According to Aiko, they recorded the video ‘before the session,’ so the actress believed she didn’t violate any rules. However, netizens didn’t buy her explanation, claiming that it was a clear disrespect for the venue where laws are made.

A lot of people have weighed in on the issue, including singer Leah Navarro, who suggested that Aiko and Julian seemed unaware of the importance of their jobs. Navarro remarked that if they understood the significance of their roles, they would act accordingly, labeling their behavior as a sad display of ignorance.

Also reacting to the matter is P3PWD party-list nominee Rowena Guanzon. On Twitter, she noted, “There must be a law or rules of the House of Representatives against this.”

Meanwhile, Rowena Guanzon is a highly accomplished lawyer, public servant, and politician. She served as a commissioner of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) from 2015 to 2022, under the administrations of President Benigno Aquino III and President Rodrigo Duterte.
