Aljur Abrenica reveals something about him and Kylie Padilla
ALJUR ABRENICA – The actor expressed that he and his estranged wife Kylie Padilla have moved on from their failed marriage.
During the premiere night of his film The Revelation on June 20, 2023, Aljur openly discussed his amicable relationship with Kylie despite their controversial separation in April 2021. Aljur, a 33-year-old actor, stated, “Kung ano yung nakita niyo, normal namin iyon.” He was referring to a notable encounter between him and Kylie during the 1st Summer MMFF Parade of Stars on April 2. They were seen exchanging pleasantries and maintaining a friendly demeanor towards each other.
Elaborating on his current situation with Kylie, Aljur explained, “Madalas naman kami nagkikita, kapag sinusundo ang mga bata. Hindi niyo alam yun, e. Nag-uusap kami lagi. Kapag sinusundo ko yung mga bata, nag-i-stay ako sa kanila ng ilang minuto para pag-usapan yung mga bata. May ganun kaming relasyon ni Kylie.”
Regarding their encounter at the Parade of Stars, Aljur emphasized that it was a normal interaction between them. He then mentioned that he and Kylie have genuinely worked on resolving the issues that arose after their separation. “Yun naman ang punta talaga. Siyempre, gusto natin maging maayos para sa mga bata. Yun naman ang tinumbok namin,” Aljur stated, adding, “Masaya kami ngayon.”
When it comes to co-parenting their two sons, Alas and Axl, Aljur revealed that he spends time with them every weekend. He makes arrangements when he has work commitments. Aljur mentioned that he wasn’t able to be with his kids on Father’s Day due to work, but he plans to make it up to them.
Before Aljur could be asked about his current girlfriend AJ Raval, the interviewers were prevented from asking “personal questions.”
