Rendon Labador declares “war” vs showbiz
RENDON LABADOR – The social media personality and entrepreneur caused a stir in the showbiz industry when he declared a “war” after celebrities rallied behind and defended Kapuso comedian, director, and writer Michael V.
According to Rendon, he doesn’t care if everyone takes sides. He believes that they should all accept the fact that they are already has-beens, and he bluntly states that this painful truth needs to be swallowed. “Totoo naman na laos na kayong lahat. Pasalamat nga kayo sinabi ko pa,” Rendon remarked.
In an Instagram post, Rendon expressed his desire to end the “showbiz era” and called upon fellow influencers to join him. “I want to end showbiz era! My fellow influencers, this is our time! Rice & Shine! #StayMotivated,” Rendon exclaimed.
During a Facebook Live session, Rendon reiterated his belief that Michael V., popularly known as Bitoy, is no longer funny and should accept the criticisms he previously made about other celebrities. On the other hand, Rendon found support from social media personality Valentine Rosales, who had previously had a feud with him.
Meanwhile, Michael V. or Bitoy, whose real name is Beethoven Del Valle Bunagan, is a highly accomplished actor, comedian, and recording artist. He has gained immense popularity through his appearances in the GMA Network shows Bubble Gang and Pepito Manaloto.
The nickname “Bitoy” originated from a kiddie TV character portrayed by comedian Bentot. As a high school student, Beethoven imitated Bentot’s voice after watching his guest appearance in Iskul Bukol. His classmates started calling him “Bitoy,” and the nickname has stuck with him to this day.
