Here’s the reaction of Jormiel Labador on the 100-peso rice at the restaurant of his brother Rendon
JORMIEL LABADOR – The content creator has expressed his disagreement with the pricing of the rice served at his brother Rendon Labador’s restaurant.
This came after some netizens complained about the high price of plain rice and questioned the pricing of the “pandan rice” at Episode Bar + Kitchen, which costs P100. In response to the complaints, Rendon defended the pricing of the rice, calling it “motivational rice” and suggesting that people should work hard to afford it.
While Jormiel admitted that the food served at his brother’s restaurant was delicious, he couldn’t help but question the pricing of the rice. He went on to confront his brother in a video, expressing his disappointment and asking why the restaurant was charging such a high price for rice.
Jormiel also criticized Rendon for not being considerate of people who are struggling with hunger amid challenging economic times. He stated that it was outrageous to charge P100 for a cup of rice when some carinderias sell ten cups of rice for the same price. Jormiel even suggested that Rendon should have raised the price to P200, out of shame.
Jormiel went on to call for his brother’s removal from the restaurant’s management. He revealed that he purchased his own rice to avoid paying P100 for the rice at his brother’s restaurant.
The video of Jormiel’s confrontation with Rendon has been viewed more than 515,000 times as of writing.
