Song Bridge Over Troubled Water moved a lola to tears

BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER – A grandmother couldn’t hold back her tears upon hearing randomly the song on the radio.

Music has always been a powerful medium to convey emotions, and certain songs have the ability to touch us deeply and even make us shed tears. This was the case for Christian Bartolome’s grandmother, who was moved to tears upon hearing “Bridge over Troubled Water” randomly played on the radio during a commercial break.

The song’s poignant melody and lyrics about being a source of comfort and support for someone in need struck a chord with Christian’s grandmother, reminding her of her late husband. Despite her emotional outburst, Christian’s grandmother found solace in his embrace, and the moment they shared was a testament to the power of music in bringing people together.

The song was played randomly by a radio station during their commercial break when suddenly I saw my Lola crying. My Lola told me that my late Lolo used to sing this song to her especially when they were at their lowest points of their lives. My Lolo died March 16 of last year, just 2 weeks after his birthday (March 3), 6 days before my birthday (March 22) and 3 months before my graduation. Hindi na siya nakaabot sa graduation ko🥺 But I know my Lolo is in a good place right now. And I know he's proud of me🤍 Thank you for everything Lolo!☝️Since kinder until nag college na ako, binibigyan pa rin niya ako ng baon kahit pa bente bente lang.🥺 Kaya sobra sobrang thank you po Lo! We'll take care of Lola🫶 PS: So kayo diyan, kung buhay pa mga parents and grandparents niyo, pls talk to them kung may time kayo. After pandemic, I've learned na as much as possible, we should spend time with our family. Family is everything and they are the greatest treasure in life.
