Episode Bar + Kitchen, the restaurant of Rendon Labaor, received negative reviews with 1.1 rating
EPISODE BAR + KITCHEN – The newly opened and closed restaurant of so-called motivational speaker and businessman Rendon Labador has been flooded with negative reviews from netizens.
It was on Saturday, March 25, 2023 when Episode Bar + Kitchen held its grand opening. The event featured the performances of entertainers such as Paolo Santos, LILY, SUD and to name a few. However, according to Rendon, none bought a ticket for the opening of his new resto.
He put the blame to fans of actor-director Coco Martin. It can be recalled that prior to the opening of the sports bar, he was heavily criticized online due to his harsh words against the lead star of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo. He claimed that the shooting of the series in Quiapo generally affected the livelihood of the vendors there.
Two days after the opening of his restaurant, Episode Bar + Kitchen announced that it will be temporarily closed down. Some netizens claimed that it might be due to the zero ticket sales on their opening. Rendon revealed in a post that he spent 1.2 million pesos for his resto’s opening.
Despite the criticisms he has been receiving, Rendon boasted that his resto is the number 1 sports bar in the country. However, his claim is being contradicted by the reviews and rating of netizens.
