The employee of Puregold who accused an actor of “stealing”, has apologized
PUREGOLD – The internal security personnel of the supermarket chain who accused an actor of “stealing” turned emotional while apologizing.
The incident occurred at Puregold Putatan Muntinlupa, where the employee accosted the customer and searched his bag, much to the embarrassment of the customer, who turned out to be an actor.
The actor, Hope Marco Neri Yutuc, took to Facebook to share his side of the story, detailing how he was approached and searched by the internal security personnel. Marco expressed his dismay at being falsely accused of theft and humiliated in public.
The internal security personnel of Puregold has apologized after earning massive backlash. She couldn’t help but turn emotional while apologizing to Yutuc.
“Ako po ay taos-pusong humihingi ng paumanhin kay Sir Marco dahil sa totoo lang po sobrang naging trauma po ‘yung nangyari sa amin. Hindi na po ako makalabas ng bahay. Natatakot po ako tuwing ako’y lalabas ng bahay,” she said.
“Hindi ko po alam kung paano ko po haharapin ‘yung mga susunod na araw. Natatakot din po ako sa puwedeng mangyari sa mga anak ko dahil sa totoo lang po nato-trauma na rin sila,” she added.
Despite the fact he was humiliated for being accused of stealing, Marco accepted the employee’s apology and offered words of comfort as the employee tearfully apologized for the incident. The employee pleaded with those judging her to give her a second chance and to refrain from bashing her for the mistake she made.
