Mayor Janice Degamo Speaks on Marriage w/ Negros Oriental Gov. Roel Degamo
MAYOR JANICE DEGAMO – The wife of slain Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo spoke about what kind of husband he was.
Negros Oriental Gov. Roel Degamo died last March 4 after he was attacked by men wearing pixelated uniforms at their house in Pamplona City. He was rushed to the hospital but he died during the treatment.
Aside from the Governor, his ally and several civilians also died due to the attack. According to Pamplona Mayor Janice Degamo, her husband was working on a Saturday when the incident happened. There were people at their house seeking for help.
His wife believes that his death is “political”. During a necrological service held at the Provincial Capitol Forecourt, the Mayor admitted that she got questions over the death of her husband who died in the hands of “cruel people”.
During the necrological service, Mayor Janice Degamo also revealed what kind of husband Negros Oriental Gov. Roel Degamo was. According to her, he does not require her to do anything at their household like cooking, doing the laundry, and other household chores. He would rather be the one to do the chores.
The wife of the slain Negros Oriental Governor expressed that he really assures that she’s always okay. She admitted that she is a “spoiled” wife of the Governor and even in turning on the music of their car, he would be the one to do it.
“He spoils us, his family. Charming pud siya mauna attractive pud siya sa mga gwapa [He’s charming that is why he is attractive towards beautiful women],” the Mayor said of her husband.
Based on the video posted by the Provincial Government of Negros Oriental, Mayor Janice Degamo further expressed that Gov. Roel Degamo is very generous, very down to Earth, a cowboy, and does not pretend.
