Vice Ganda defended by Lolit Solis for buying a dog worth P380K
LOLIT SOLIS – The showbiz veteran took to social media wherein she defended Vice Ganda for buying a dog worth P380,000.
Vice Ganda, whose real name is Jose Marie Borja Viceral, is a well-known Filipino comedian, television presenter, actor, and singer. He initially pursued a career in the entertainment industry as a singer and performer before transitioning to comedy. He gained prominence as a stand-up comedian, making appearances on various comedy bars and television shows.
In 2009, Vice starred in his first major movie role in the comedy film “Petrang Kabayo,” which became a commercial success. He continued to star in blockbuster movies such as “The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin” and its sequel, which broke box office records in the Philippines. He also became a regular host on the popular noontime show “It’s Showtime” and has won numerous awards for his performances and contributions to Philippine entertainment.
Previously, the Unkabogable Comedian made a buzz on social media after showcasing the newest addition to his family with partner Ion Perez. In a vlog, the comedian unveiled their beloved Pomeranian dog. The puppy was a cute five-month-old black and white Pomeranian, known for its affectionate behavior towards its owners.
Its adorable small size made it an ideal house pet, and to make it feel comfortable, they also purchased a luxurious dog bed for P16,000. Vice and Ion are also planning to baptize the puppy before giving it a name.
Despite the overwhelmingly positive response, some netizens questioned Vice’s decision to buy a dog that costs a staggering P380,000, rather than adopting one from a shelter.
Among those who defended the comedian is showbiz veteran Lolit Solis. On Instagram, Lolit agreed to Vice that the people should let them do what they want because it’s their own money they’re spending. Here’s the IG post of Solis:
