Here’s the tribute of Darryl Yap to Imelda Marcos
DARRYL YAP – The controversial director took to social media wherein he paid a tribute to former First Lady Imelda Marcos.
Imelda Marcos is a politician and former First Lady of the Philippines. She is the widow of former Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos, who ruled the country from 1965 until he was ousted in a popular uprising in 1986.
During her husband’s presidency, Imelda Marcos was known for her lavish lifestyle and her extensive collection of art, jewelry, and other luxury items. She also held several government positions, including as Governor of Metro Manila and Minister of Human Settlements.
After her husband’s ouster, Imelda and her family went into exile in Hawaii, but later returned to the Philippines where she was charged with corruption and other crimes related to her time in office. She was acquitted of most of the charges but was found guilty of several counts of graft in 2018 and sentenced to prison, although she remains free on bail while she appeals the verdict.
Recently, Darryl Yap, the director of movies; Maid in Malacañang and Martyr or Murderer, took to social networking site, Facebook wherein he paid a tribute to Imelda Marcos.

“kahit si Superman magmumukhang mahina
kumpara sa lakas, tatag at tibay ng babaeng ito.
Malayo sa pagiging perpekto
pero pinakamalapit sa Tao.

sa lahat ng Pilipina sa buong Mundo—
