Klea Pineda on meeting her girlfriend: “Nakita ko lang siya sa TikTok and …”
KLEA PINEDA – After coming out as a gay, the “AraBella” star recently shared how she met her girlfriend on TikTok.
Kapuso veteran entertainment correspondent Nelson Canlas recently uploaded the second part of his interview with Klea Pineda on “Updated with Nelson Canlas” podcast on Spotify.
In the said episode, the actress spoke about revealing her true self to the public and also shared about her relationship with her girlfriend.
Klea shared that she met her girlfriend on TikTok and she didn’t expect that they have a common friend. According to her, she made the first move and she had no idea if her partner was into girls at that time.
“Nakita ko lang siya sa TikTok and hindi ko ine-expect na meron kaming common friend. And then kinulit ko na ‘tong si common friend namin,” the actress said. “Ako naman magfi-first move and then wala naman akong idea na kung she’s into girls ba or wala akong kaide-idea. I’m just shooting my shot kumbaga.”
The actress shared that she and her partner instantly hit it off. She also said that she’s very happy with their relationship.
In the same interview, Klea shared how her parents found out that she’s gay.

She shared that she let her sister hold her phone and her sister just left her phone in the car at that time. According to her, her mother saw that her phone was on and saw her conversation with her best friend and that’s when her parents found out that she’s gay.
Klea said that her parents were calm about it at first, but they became angry and confused after a few days.
“Siyempre may things talaga na ganun sa parents, hindi naman mawawala ‘yon and I’m sure ‘yung sa iba mas masakit ‘yung nararanasan nila up to now,” Klea said.
Eventually, her parents came around and supported her.
