Chito Miranda to Pia Magalona: “Alam ko po na sobra yung sentimental value ng polo sa inyo pero …”
CHITO MIRANDA – The “Parokya ni Edgar” frontman expressed his gratitude to Francis Magalona’s wife Pia Magalona for donating her late husband’s “Bagsakan” polo for guitarist Gab Chee Kee.
The singer posted a photo on his social media account wherein Boss Toyo, his partner, and Pia Magalona can be seen holding a framed “Bagsakan” polo of the late OPM rapper. The said polo was sold for PHP 620,000 through an auction.
In the caption, Chito thanked those who placed their bid for the said item. He went on to congratulate Boss Toyo for being the winning bidder of the said polo.
Chito also expressed his gratitude to Pia Magalona for donating the polo that her late husband wore in the music video for “Bagsakan”.
“Alam ko po na sobra yung sentimental value ng polo sa inyo pero pinili nyo pa ring i-donate para makatulong sa kabanda namin,” Chito Miranda said to Pia Magalona in the caption of his post.

He also thanked Saab Magalona who became the bridge in coordinating with her mother to find her late dad’s “Bagsakan” polo. Aside from that, he thanked Linya Linya for donating “more than P300k” to Gab.
To recall, Pia Magalona shared in an interview with Boss Toyo on “Pinoy Pawnstars” that it’s hard for her to part with her late husband’s polo because it has a sentimental value to her.
“It’s difficult kasi si Chito and si Gloc, they’re there, so it’s theirs, so they gave it. But me na he’s gone already, di ba? So I’m very sentimental,” she said.
