Kween Yasmin, whose real name is Yasmin Marie Asistido, is an online personality, who rose to fame with her entertaining song covers and other content. She’s behind the song “Lalaking Manloloko” a parody of Ex-Battalion hit single “Hayaan Mo Sila.”

It was just recently when she attended the UP Fair, a week-long advocacy-led music fair. At one point, she was pictured showing off a peace sign. However, the said photo was altered in an effort to make her image appear “bad” to the general public.

The edited photo caught her attention prompting her to post a warning via Facebook on Monday, February 20. On FB, she posted the edited and original photo of her with the caption: “Paalala: be aware sa mga nageedit kuno, ng mga photos ko. naka peace sign po ko dyan. Hindi po ko nagpopost ng naka bad finger. Naka -sign po ko dun sa picture na to. So please stop editing my finger.”

“At kahit kailanman, Hindi ako nagpoposing Ng naka bad finger. Pls don’t do that anymore. And I thank you,” she added. Her post earned thousands of reactions as of posting.

Meanwhile, it can be recalled that it was in 2021 when she revealed in an interview that she was forced to drop out of college because of excessive bullying.

Kween Yasmin was studying Multimedia Arts at a college in Dasmariñas, Cavite in 2018 when she had that tragic experience. “Yung first-year college yung… hindi na po ako nag-continue dun. Last 2018 lang po yun, e,” she said. “Nahulog po ako sa may hagdanan mo that time po… may tumulak po. ‘Tapos sunud-sunod na po yung pambu-bully po nun,” she added.
