Old Sagala photo of Joshua Garcia goes viral
JOSHUA GARCIA – An old photo of the actor-heartthrob, taken in a Sagala during his teenage years went viral, eliciting mixed reactions from netizens.
It was just recently when a certain Reina Carisse Forteza-Abrigonda took to social networking site, Facebook wherein she posted a throwback photo of her with the actor. Her post was accompanied by the caption: “Kung alam ko lang na sisikat ka, sana pala sumagala na tayo simula Batangas City hanggang Mabini.”
In an interview with Pilipino Star Ngayon Digital, Reina said that the photo was taken during a festival in San Roque, Bauan, Batangas, in 2012. Joshua Garcia was only 14-years-old at the time.
“Honestly, di ko po tlaga siya kilala that time and wala naman po dapat ako escort nung sagala. And then may nagtanong lang po sa mother ko na kung okay lang daw po ba na may escort ako, pumayag naman po mother ko,” Reina said. “Hindi ko lang in-expect na ang pogi ng escort. Mas napansin pa talaga si Joshua Garcia kaysa sa akin nung naglalakad kami,” she added.
Now, Reina is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering course at Batangas State University while the 25-year-old is a famous actor. Her post went viral, garnering more than 194k reactions, over 400 comments and more than 51k shares.
According to some netizens, when Joshua Garcia was young, he often joins the Sagala. However, he only has one coat. Meanwhile, Joshua Garcia entered the world of show business in 2014 via Pinoy Big Brother: All In. He was 16-years-old at the time.
