A steak is a thick piece of beef that is often cut across the muscle fibers and occasionally contains a bone. Typically, it is grilled or fried. It can be minced and made into patties for hamburgers or chopped and cooked in sauce for steak and kidney pie.

Beef, bison, buffalo, camel, goat, horse, kangaroo, sheep, ostrich, turkey, deer, and numerous kinds of fish, particularly salmon and huge fish like swordfish, shark, and marlin, are all used to make steaks. These slices are frequently referred to as chops when they come from certain meats, like pork, lamb and mutton, chevon, and veal. Some types of cured meat, like gammon, are frequently served as steak.

Recently, a content creator named Karel kat lopez took to social media wherein she shared her experience after eating steak at a resturant. According to her, it was her first time to order it. She even told the waiter that she’s going to chomp on the biggest in their menu.

But when she found out that her bill after eating a whole steak was actually P6000, she couldn’t help but express her disbelief. Karel thought that the food is served for only 400 pesos. It turned out that it’s actually being sold for 400 pesos per gram. It appears that she was able to consume more or less 15 grams.

Here’s her post:
