MARCO ALCARAZ – The song number of the actor at a beauty pageant has gone viral, garnering mixed reactions from the netizens.
Marco Antonio Faylona Alcaraz is an actor and model. He started out as an actor after starring in the 2003 hit teleserye, It Might Be You along with John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo. He last appeared on television via GMA Network’s Lolong.
He also acted on the big screen with his debut movie, Aishite Imasu 1941: Mahal Kita starring Dennis Trillo. Alacaraz is married to former beauty queen and 2005 Miss International, Precious Lara Quigaman. They have been together for more 10 years already.

It was just recently when Alcaraz guested in a beauty pageant wherein he got to serenade the candidates. During his song number, the husband of Precious Lara Quigaman made a rendition of Ngiti, popularized by Ronnie Liang.
His rendition was posted on the Facebook page, Bekis of Pageantry 2.0. As of posting, it has generated more than 4k comments and over 1k shares. It was also flooded with comments. Here are the comments of some netizens:
One of the netizens wrote: “Actually kasalanan ng Prod yan. kasalanan ng sound tech yan, masyadong flat yung audio, pang host yung gamit, hindi naka tune. Hindi naman talaga singer si Marco, sana manlang nag auto tune nalang.”
Another netizen claimed that the voice on the video might have been edited. But a netizen replied: “Hindi po xa edited xa tlaga Yan ,nsa live nila Yan haha xa tlaga kumnta.”
While some are criticizing him, there were netizens who defended the actor. A netizen said: “Maganda po boses Niya.”
