Robin Padilla Dismayed at PNP’s Use of “Muslim” to Tag Inmates in Leila de Lima Hostage-Taking

ROBIN PADILLA – The senator was dismayed at the Philippine National Police (PNP) in using “Muslim” to tag inmates who held hostage former Senator Leila de Lima.

Robinhood Ferdinand Cariño Padilla is an actor, politician, screenwriter, producer, and director.

He is known as the “Bad Boy” of Philippine cinema for portraying anti-hero protagonist gangster roles in films such as Anak ni Baby Ama, Grease Gun Gang, Bad Boy, and Bad Boy 2.

He has also been dubbed the “Prince of Action” of Philippine cinema.

Padilla is also active in television programs, having played lead roles in Basta’t Kasama Kita, Asian Treasures, Joaquin Bordado, Totoy Bato, Guns and Roses, and Toda Max.

Robin Padilla, a neophyte, led the previous senatorial election with over 26 million votes.

It was on Sunday, October 9, when a hostage-taking incident involving former Senator Leila de Lima took place at the Camp Crame Custodial Center.

Three detainees identified as Feliciano Sulayao Jr., Arnel Cabintoy, and Idang Susukan earlier tried to escape the facility.

Cabintoy and Susukan ganged up and stabbed a police officer while attempting to flee.

After witnessing the stabbing, another officer shot and killed Cabintoy and Susukan. This prompted Sulayao to storm into De Lima’s cell and held her hostage. He was later shot dead by a police officer.

Meanwhile, Robin Padilla took to social media wherein he expressed his dismay at PNP for the use of the word “Muslim” in tagging the inmates who held hostage the senator.
