Tañada is popularly known as the director of Katips.

It is a movie about a group of student activists from the Katipunan area of Quezon City who struggled to protest the imposition of nationwide martial law in the 1970s.

The film stars Jerome Ponce, Vince Tañada, Mon Confiado, Sazchna Laparan, Nicole Laurel Asensio and to name a few.

Recently, he went to the social networking site, Facebook wherein he gave a message to netizens accusing Harvard, FAMAS, and the Nobel Peace Prize of being “dilawan.”

It was just recently when netizens criticized Nobel Peace Prize for giving an award to Rappler CEO, Maria Ressa, FAMAS granting the best actor award to Tañada and the honorary degree (Doctor of Philosophy in Economics) of Leni Robredo at Harvard University.

On Facebook, Tañada slammed those people calling the said organizations, “dilawan.”

“Kung iniisip mo na dilawan ang Nobel Peace Prize, Harvard University at Famas Awards…ang t*nga mo! Mas may value pa itong ulam ko now kesa sa utak mo,” he said.

He also slammed the netizens who are being paid to criticize.

“Bakit ba kasi galit na galit yung mga “ano” sa tagumpay ng iba? Inggit na inggit ba? Well, sorry po kung nagsa-succeed. Baka po mahal kami ni Lord. Tapos ikaw nandyan pa rin sa P200 per post at P50 per comment. Kawawa ka naman,” he said.
