Recently, Judy Ann Santos went to social media wherein she lamented the price of sibuyas or onion.

According to Judy Ann Santos, the price of the onion she bought earlier reached up to P550 per kilo.

Apparently, there were some who are not amused by Judy Ann’s sentiment.

On Facebook, former MasterChef contestant Pebbles Cunanan slammed the show’s ex-judge.

Cunanan is wondering why Judy Ann Santos is crying over the price of onion when in fact she spent millions just to study at a culinary school.

“Tuition fee mo nga sa culinary school na pinag-aralan mo umabot ng isang milyon tapos 500 pesos iniyakan mo? Luhhhh,” Cunanan said.

This is not the first time Cunanan lambasted Judy Ann Santos.

Previously, she lectured the latter that she should learn how to find alternative and cheaper ingredients.

Meanwhile, Juday is considered one of the favorite actresses of all time.

Because of her acting prowess, she has received various awards and accolades through the years such as a Cairo International Film Festival Award, a Gawad Urian, two Luna Awards, two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards, and three FAMAS Awards.

Her showbiz career started when she was only ten years old when she became the lead star of the children’s television series Ula, Ang Batang Gubat in 1988.

Her career skyrocketed when she became part of the soap opera Mara Clara along with Gladys Reyes as well as Esperanza (1998), Sa Puso Ko Iingatan Ka (2001), and Basta’t Kasama Kita (2003).

Aside from being an actress, she also ventured into becoming a chef and restaurateur.

It was in 2015 when she wrote a cookbook called Judy Ann’s Kitchen, which won a Gourmand International’s Cookbook Award for Best Authors and Chefs Outside Europe.
