JUDY ANN SANTOS – The actress-celebrity chef took to social media wherein she shared her reaction to the price of a kilo of onion.

Dubbed the Queen of Pinoy Soap Opera or Young Superstar, Juday is considered one of the favorite actresses of all time.

Because of her acting prowess, she has received various awards and accolades through the years such as a Cairo International Film Festival Award, a Gawad Urian, two Luna Awards, two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards, and three FAMAS Awards.

Her showbiz career started when she was only ten years old when she became the lead star of the children’s television series Ula, Ang Batang Gubat in 1988.

Her career skyrocketed when she became part of the soap opera Mara Clara along with Gladys Reyes as well as Esperanza (1998), Sa Puso Ko Iingatan Ka (2001), and Basta’t Kasama Kita (2003).

Aside from being an actress, she also ventured into becoming a chef and restaurateur.

It was in 2015 when she wrote a cookbook called Judy Ann’s Kitchen, which won a Gourmand International’s Cookbook Award for Best Authors and Chefs Outside Europe.

Recently, Judy Ann Santos went to social media wherein she lamented the price of sibuyas or onion.

According to Judy Ann Santos, the price of the onion she bought earlier reached up to P550 per kilo.

“Sibuyas na puti!! Nakakaloka ka! Dati, kailangan ka munang hiwain bago maluha… ngayon, naiisip pa lang kita naiiyak na ako sa presyo mo!” she noted in her IG Story.

“Pero dahil kailangan kita, kaysa mas kailangan mo ako, ha-hug kita at nanamnamin kita bago kita iluto… importanteng namnamin ka dahil 550 ka per kilo! Kalerks!”
